Laguna Beach Wedding DJ

Chandra and Anthony’s wedding took place in a beautiful backyard in Laguna Beach. The Bride is a wedding florist, so I was honored to be picked as their Wedding DJ. We provided music and sound equipment for both the ceremony and reception. We played a mix of soul, hip hop, indie and current music and all the guest had a great time. One of my favorite moments was the Recessional, when the Bride and Groom excited the ceremony to “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall and Oats. This wedding was also featured on multiple wedding blog sites and it was a privilege to be a part of Chandra and Anthony’s special day.

“Dakota was awesome. I would have no hesitation in hiring him all over again, and am happy to recommend him. He was very mindful of our very long song request list and played almost all of them (over 200), dealt with more than his fair share of crazy family members and power issues gracefully and professionally, didn’t talk just to hear himself, and was very easy-going about our less than traditional set-up and pace of the night. In short, just hire him. You’ll be happy you did.” – Chandra
